OR Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent with min. 45% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002 for 2007–2009 session). OR Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent with min. 50% marks + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent with min. 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed., by whatever name known). And Must have passed the JTET (Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test) for Classes 1 to 5, organized by the Jharkhand Government as per NCTE guidelines.
